Even surgery is also recommended which is known as vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty. Stretching exercises relieve the pressure from the back muscles as well as it prevents upper back pain so that it cannot come back in our future. One can take help from the physical therapist or chiropractor who can guide properly about stretching exercises related to the muscles and to make it strong. With the help of proper exercise it will prevent joint strain as well as ligament and posture improves. Now upper back pain is your past which used to occur because of bad posture but regular exercise made it disappear.

The other treatments for upper back pain such as acupuncture, ice and/or heat therapy and deep muscle massage can also be considered. Some painkillers or muscle relaxant as well as anti-inflammatory can also be taken to reduce the pain during the treatment.
